Most of the rain missed us to the East but we had a nice 1/4 inch shower and a gorgeous evening. Hopefully it will give the hops and hay a growth spurt.

We are done with new planting for 2019. Three new full rows with hundreds of plants added. New varieties Willamette and Columbia added and our Crystal Hops have been more that doubled. Time to work on irrigation, weeding and 18

We have been working hard in the hop field. Lime and fertilizer down. Nearly 1/2 of the hop coir is up. Could use a nice rain. It’s gone from muddy to a little too dry. Typical Kansas.
